JOINING THE SITE
Do NOT join and start role-playing straight away. Doing that gets you deleted immediately. So after you join you need to be approved before you start role playing. You will NOT be approved until one of the moderators reviews and approves your completed Application Form.
When it comes to a username, you're free to choose whichever you want. However when it comes to your display name (the name of your account, the name that will show up in your posts) do please try and avoid using a name of an actual canon character. For example don't use 'Mickey Mouse' because there might be more people on the site playing that character and it might get confusing for other members. Try and give your account name a personal touch. This is a multi-muse site so at our eyes it makes sense that all account names are diversified. This applies to cannon names, however if you have an OC character and want to use that name because you can't think of anything else, go for it!
APPLICATION FORM
Every field in the Application Form must be completed. You will not be approved if you left any field empty. The Application Form can be found in the Application Center. Complete it and post it in PENDING. When your application is reviewed it will be moved to ACCEPTED or DENIED.
Made-up characters are also accepted, not only canons. Regarding face-claim for these types of characters, DO NOT use emo looking kids or Disney Channel wanna-be stars because under-aged twilight beauties are not exactly what we’re doing here.
If after five days of joining the site you haven't submitted an application form, your account will be deleted.
MUST DO!
After being accepted into the site, you will be responsible to create a Muse Thread for yourself. Here, you will add your muses aka the characters you will be playing on this website, as well as graphics and gifs, if you wish. Also, you will create a plotter to allow people to plot with you. If you feel the need, you may also create a tracker to keep track of all your roleplays.
ROLE-PLAYING
You may use colors if you want to highlight your speech/dialog. But please use one color for it because we don't want to see rainbows every time we hit the recent post button. That tires the eyes and makes it seem like we're in Disneyland.
Still regarding posting, we don't allow people to decorate their posts with images of their character's attire, objects that they carry and similar stuff. We're aiming for descriptive roleplayers so please instead of placing a picture of what your character is wearing on that day, just describe it in your own words.
We demand paragraph role-play. There is no word limit. Character’s actions should be described in 3rd person and only dialog will be in 1st person and between quotation marks. There can be a few exceptions, depending on how great of a writer you are. We are absolutely against permanent one liners. Sure, everyone does them once in a while but all the time? FORBIDDEN.
When it comes to sexual role-plays, the same are allowed, however detailed descriptions of sexual actions are not in the public threads so we request that when the role-plays reach that point you fade them to black. If you wish, however, you can take it to private message in order to continue them.
Your posts are not almighty, even if your character is. Meaning that as you describe your actions you need to give some room to your role-play partner to respond and react. Also just because you, as a person, plotted something out with another member, that doesn't mean your character knows about it so role-play accordingly. Also, God-Moding other people's characters is not allowed.
Stay in character. Do NOT mix RL drama with RP drama. Anyone caught mixing RP drama with RL will be banned from the site immediately.
Do not disrespect the site or the staff. Insulting the staff will get you off the site right away.
Multiple accounts will get you kicked off the site. And believe me, we know when that happens so don't even try. Spare your time.
Do not disrespect the site by advertising other RP sites all around the place. If you want to advertise go to the Home Page, Out of character section, Advertising rubric and advertise your site there.
Activity on the site means role-playing. Coming online just to stalk or have some OOC talks does not count as being active on the site. If you are off for more than 1 month, make a new topic in the Away rubric otherwise your account will be deleted from the site due to inactivity.
There are no time constrictions as to when to start or continue a thread with any other members. Post at your own convenience. We feel obliged to tell you, however, that if you prefer a fast reply rate, the nature of our website may not fit your criteria.
DISCORD & SHOUTBOX
The first rule regarding the chat platforms, is understanding that the same are public chats meant to have fun and for people to enjoy themselves. Meaning, not only members can access them talk to each other, but also guests can access then as well. These platforms are the first impression that potential members will have on the members already on the site and overall on the site's environment, so no, you're not supposed to have inappropriate conversations in it.
Regarding inappropriate conversations, the second rule is, don't have them. Everyone is entitled to dark or nasty jokes once in a while but we don't want to see the these chat platforms spammed with smut words and really disgusting vocabulary.
Third rule is, respect people and the fact that some subjects might be triggering to them. We don't know people's stories or what they have been through in life so jokes about cancer, rape and whatnot will be moderated on the spot. If someone asks you to change the subject because they are not comfortable with it, do it. This is not debatable.
No discriminatory comments or conversations are allowed. If you're homophobic, racist or whatever that directly hurts basic human rights just leave the site.
Beware of spam. It's annoying and there's really no point in it.
Don't have fights or personal arguments in the on the chat platforms. Again, it's a public space, meaning that anyone can read it. Take it to PM, outside the site or simply contact a member of the staff if you have to report something.
Last but not least, respect not only staff but also members and potential members.
